Carrie Underwood pregnant news earlier this week said the former "American Idol" winner got offered "free babysitting services" from fellow country stars, "The Band Perry". In a report from E!Onine, the group behind "If I Die Young" claims the Grammy winner and her NHL player husband Mike Fisher "will be great parents".
"The Band Perry" singer Kimberly Perry chatted with E!Onine at the Fashion Rocks 2014 event in Brooklyn's Barclays Center, saying: "We told them we would babysit if they ever need us to, so we are here, give us a call."
The country group apparently already knew that Carrie Underwood was pregnant before the Grammy winner announced it to the public.
"Well, you know Carrie is a dear friend of ours and she was at my wedding, she and Mike," Kimberly Perry shared to E!Onine.
She continued: "We actually heard the news a little bit early before the rest of the world did and we are just so thrilled for them."
"They are just such great human beings and they are going to be great parents," Kimberly Perry said about Carrie Underwood and her NHL star hubby, Mike Fisher.
The E!Onine report added that "The Band Perry" songstress is also married to a professional athlete, baseball player J.P. Arencibia. The two wed just last July, and was asked about plans to start a family.
Kimberly Perry responded: "We are working towards our third record now, but I am sure somewhere down the line that will be happening."
According to an earlier report from Daily Mail, the Carrie Underwood pregnant news broke after the "Jesus Take The Wheel" singer took the reveal to social media last Labor Day weekend.
Carrie Underwood revealed she is pregnant by uploading to Instagram a picture of herself sitting with her two pet dogs, Ace and Penny. In the photo, her pet dogs were wearing t-shirts: one saying "I'm going to be a big brother" and the other "'I'm going to be a big sister".
The singer captioned the photo: "In honor of "Labor" Day...Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier!"
