All eyes are now on "Man and Steel" star Amy Adams and her latest movie "Big Eyes". After watching the trailer, everyone begins to ask: "Will the Tim Burton movie finally give the five-time Oscar nominee her very first award... or will it give Adams her (heartbreaking) sixth?

Adams had five Oscar nominations, first of which is for the "Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role" category in 2006 for the movie "Junebug". It was followed by three more nominations for the same class - "Doubt" 2009, "The Fighter" 2011, and "The Master" 2013. She was again nominated in 2014 in the "Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role" category for "American Hustle", the film that gave Adams her first Golden Globe award.

Amy Adams plays Margaret Keane in "Big Eyes", one of the most anticipated flicks of 2014. Directed and produced by Tim Burton, the movie is the true story of Walter Keane (played by Christoph Waltz), a flourishing painter in 1950s and early 1960s. His unique portraits that feature people with big eyes earned for himself fame and fortune. However, it will soon be discovered that those were not his works but his wife's - Margaret, played by Adams.

The story of the movie focuses on Margaret's beginnings as an artist, the success of her paintings, and her troubled relationship and legal battles with her husband who took credits for her works. It also stars Krysten Ritter (as DeeAnn, a friend of Margaret's), Jason Schwartzman (as Ruben, the art gallery owner), Danny Huston, and Terence Stamp.

The film has its release date on Christmas Day, December 25, 2014. It will compete against "Hot Tub Time Machine 2", "Into the Woods", and "The Interview". Watch the trailer and see for yourself if Amy Adams is deserving of her first Oscar trophy in the movie "Big Eyes".
