It's official! Zachary Quinto won't be appearing as Sylar for NBC's 'Heroes Reborn' scheduled to air in 2015.

After skirting around whether or not to reprise the role that shot him to fame in 2006, he finally made a decision.

He expressed his interest in the 13-episode reboot back in July. However, he also shared his doubts as to whether or not he could actually join the production again.

I've been talking to Tim and I'm really excited that they're doing that show," the actor previously told The Wrap in an interview. "I don't really see the room for me to be involved at this point, just based on my schedule. But, I'm not sure if it will work out just based on availability alone."

Earlier this month, Quinto finally revealed the reason why he won't be bringing Sylar back to life again, reported CBS News.

"I'm not going to do it," he reportedly said.

The 37-year-old actor admitted that timing was one of the factors for his decision. Another is his desire to try out new things in terms of acting.

According to the 'Star Trek' actor, portraying Sylar in 'Heroes Reborn' once more wouldn't be right for him creatively. Professionally, he is "really interested in cultivating other experiences" for himself.

He is also quite busy with a new series, this time, an unscripted show called 'The Chair.' He has been mentoring two amateur filmmakers in the Starz series, airing every Saturday at 11 PM.

Meanwhile, only Jack Coleman, who fans will see as Noah Bennet a.k.a. Horn-Rimmed Glassees, has been confirmed to appear in 'Heroes Reborn.' Milo Ventimiglia, who played empath Peter Petrelli, and Ali Larter, who played Niki Sanders, have all declared that they won't be reviving their old characters. Larter is also currently busy working with Sean Bean with the new spy series, 'Legends.'

Hayden Panetierre, who portrayed cheerleader Claire Bennet, is also busy with the latest season of 'Nashville' and her soon-to-be born baby with fiancé Wladimir Klitschko.

Former 'Heroes' executive producer Brian Fuller has also expressed his wish for 'Heroes Reborn' to recreate the original's glory.
