The 33-year-old actor, despite fan's admiration and fascination with his life, has been trying hard to keep his relationships as private as he can. That doesn't stop the press from creating rumors about him with other actresses though.

He's been linked to co-star Kat Dennings, Jessica Chastain and Lara Pulver. He was also rumored to have been secretly married to theatre actress Susanna Fielding.

The 'Thor' star, however, said he understood the public's fixation to his love life.

"I hope when there's really something to write about, then I'll be able to talk," he told GQ in an interview, last year.
