The first glimpse of this movie was released around four months ago, and it looked to be the kind of exciting, spy thriller movie that both adults and young adults would both want to see. Kingsman: The Secret Service movie also made a bit of buzz at the 2014 San Diego Comic-con, winning it some new fans. Now, with the release of the brand new Kingsman: The Secret Service trailer, we take an extended look at this promising new movie.
It's the kind of mentor-protege movie, with a bravura type of filmmaking, with lots of action, wisecracks and humor that is very appealing to movie audiences these days. It focuses on a veteran secret agent played by the ever dashing Colin Firth, and a young man (Taron Egerton), as he trains him for one of the most secretive agencies in the world. The duo, and the rest of the Kingsman have to go up against a sleek supervillain played by Samuel L. Jackson, who is bent on dominating the world, and killing a lot of people in the process.
The Kingsman: The Secret Service trailer features a new song from Iggy Azalea and Ellie Goulding, and shows the directing chops of Matthew Vaughn, who is famous for helming Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class. The official synopsis reads:
Based upon the acclaimed comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn),Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency's ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
The movie also co-stars Michael Caine, Mark Hamill, and Sophie Cookson, and features cameos by Adele, Lady Gaga, David Beckham, and Elton John. Kingsman: The Secret Service is set to be released on February, 2015. In the meantime, watch the trailer below:
