After getting the award-winning actor Robert De Niro onboard earlier this year, "Bus 657" movie is casting Dave Bautista, Kate Bosworth, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

The star of "The Godfather: Part II" will play the role of Frank "The Pope" - not the beloved Pontiff but the owner of a casino who is also involved in illegitimate business practices. Bosworth will play as De Niro's daughter. Morgan is the father of the sick daughter while Bautista is the co-worker. Stephen Sepher ("4 Minutes") wrote the story.

This is De Niro's second time to be included in a Louisiana-shot drama for Emmett and Furla. A few days ago, Radar Online reported that the "Taxi Driver" star will come up with a biography titled "In De Niro: A Life". Out in October 28, the book is authored by Shawn Levy. It is said to tell about De Niro's "dark secret past".

According to Deadline, the plot focuses on a father whose daughter is ill and is need of medical treatment, which he can't afford. He has no option but to tie a partnership with a greedy co-worker to steal from a casino. The two hijack a bus full of hostages.

"Bus 657" movie is a film production of Emmett/Furla/Oasis. Randal Emmett, George Furla, Sepher, and Alexander Tabrizi are the producers while Barry Brooker and Stan Wertlieb are the executive producers. Co-producers are Daniel Grodnik, Patrick Eberle, Richard Rionda del Castro, and Beth Holden-Garland.

The plot makes it appear that it will be like the hit movies "Heat" and "Speed". But with a budget of $15 million, IMDb said that it is likely that the flick will showcase less of explosions but more on character.

Production is set to start this fall in Baton Rouge. "Bus 657" movie is to be directed by Scott Mann ("The Tournament").
