Vin Diesel paid a touching tribute to his good friend and former "Fast and Furious" co-star, Paul Walker, by posting some photos of him while on the set of the film franchise on Facebook.
On Tuesday, September 23, Vin Diesel shared a promotional photo that featured himself with the late actor.
"Universal came to visit, to show the trailer for FF7...Speechless. Yeah, it was INCREDIBLE!" he wrote.
"I must also say that it was emotional and bittersweet. We all went above and beyond to make Pablo proud, but man, I wish he could see what we have created and just how far we've come," he added.
Walker, 40, passed away in a car crash back in November. At that time, he was already filming "Fast and Furious 7."
Creators of the film decided to go on with production and asked Walker's brothers to fill in small gaps in some action scenes and in playing Walker's recurring role as Brian O'Conner, according to CNN.
Walker has been in the "Fast and Furious" franchise ever since it first launched in 2001, KTVZ noted.
Production of "Fast and Furious 7" got delayed following Walker's death and it only resumed in April, according to Boston Herald.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, Vin Diesel joined his "Fast and Furious" co-stars Jordana Brewster and Ludacris, including Walker's daughter, Meadow, in celebrating what would have been the actor's 41st birthday, the NY Daily News reported.
"One year ago today... honoring our brother," Vin Diesel wrote on Facebook and posted a photo of Walker being presented with a birthday cake during his birthday on set last year.
"Fast and Furious 7" stars Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Jordana Brewster.
The film is slated for release in theaters in the United States this coming April 3.
