The Incredibles 2 news: ten years have passed and we still haven't heard of the possible release date of the Disney/Pixar animated sequel. However, rumors suggest that it might be out next year, 2015, shall Pixar follow the 11-year interval between Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3.

Also, we have to wait for Brad Bird, who will be taking the helm as the director and writer of the Incredibles 2, to feel extremely satisfied with the all-new plot he's currently working on, alongside the final list of characters:

"If I can come up with a story that is as good or better than that first film, then I'd love to return to that world, but it would have to be story first," he says.

One part of the Incredibles 2 that we are really excited about is the return of Frozone voiced by Samuel L. Jackson. This character once claimed the 16th spot of Empire magazine's list of Top 20 Pixar Characters because perhaps he reminds us of Marvel Comic's Iceman, only with a lighter feel. Just look at this adorable clip:

Jackson had us at his response during an interview with the Digital Spy:

"Every time I run into Brad [Bird, director] he always tells me Frozone is part of what's going on [in the sequel], so I have to believe that. I guess they could be the Incredibles without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful addition to what's already there."

Another thing that The Incredibles fans must look forward to is the development of Jack-Jack's character. As you all know, he is the cute baby of the Incredbiles family who was revealed to possess a unique superpower.

For those who are still in doubt when it comes to the possibility of a sequel, Disney President Bob Iger confirmed that The Incredibles 2 is in the works during the Disney Investor's Meeting last March 18.

The estimated release date of the film is yet to be announced, but the director of the 3D production team Josh Hollander hinted that they might finish sooner because of the advancement of technology.

He gave some words at the 3D Creative Summit in London Hollander told the audience: "Right now we're working on The Incredibles, which is a lot of fun in 3D. I'm not sure what the release strategy for it will be."It's been an interesting challenge to work on technology because - while the film was released 10 years ago - the technology is even older as it took four years to make."
