According to updated news of Movie Pilot about Green Lantern 2, the sequel will continue the adventures of DC Comic's intergalactic cop Green Lantern, who is also known as the cocky fighter pilot Hal Jordan, played by Ryan Reynolds.

According to a related report about "Green Lanten" 2 posted on Yahoo, Ryan Reynolds was not upset regarding the failed box office results of his movie. Movie Pilot supported the news saying that the first Green Lantern's production cost was around $ 200 million and its worldwide box office gross was $ 220 million.

The source also added "Green Lantern" 2 sequel is on the way and Warner Bros' president Jeffrey Robinov said, "it will be 'edgier and darker' than its predecessor".

Many fans want a reboot version of this first sequel. MP said, a fan asked Geoff Johns, Chief Creative Officer at DC Comics and a great comic book writer about any chance of rebooting the movie. He only answered,

"There's always talk of everything. I can't talk about anything else."

There is rumor that Green Lantern will team up with the Flash for their live action movie. Some created an idea that it might serve as a reboot to the character. However, Chief Creative Office stated:

"Fear is such an anchor on everybody. To explore a superhero that just takes fear and obliterates it, and then is inspired by other people that do it -- for me, that's really interesting, because I have my own fears, and I have my own inhibitions. Sitting up here and talking to a bunch of people is a little scary. But you kind of just have to do it. All of us, the fact that we go out of bed and we go do stuff -- we're overcoming fear to some extent to even go outside the house."

Currently, there are no solid details released yet about the on-going development of this movie. For updates about the movie, stay tuned on this site.
