The recent Rita Ora and Calvin Harris split has reportedly resulted to the "I Will Never Let You Down" singer being "desperate" to seek the approval from her ex-boyfriend to perform the said top-charting hit. But as the "RIP" singer struggles to keep her album, the Scottish producer is now rumored to be dating again after his break-up with the "How We Do" singer.

In a report from the Unreality TV, Rita Ora and Calvin Harris split had resulted to the singer's desperate action to write a letter to the DJ and producer and ask him to give her the right to perform "I Will Never Let You Down." It was reported that he DJ have already burned bridges with his former girlfriend by pulling out his composition from her sophomore album.

The issue sparked when Rita Ora's performance at the recent Teen Choice Awards of "I Will Never Let You Down" was postponed. As the composition Calvin Harris was made for her album when they were still together, the songwriter allegedly banned the singer to perform the hit song.

But Calvin Harris immediately responded to rumors.

"You'll only know 1 side of the story RE Teen choice awards because I choose not to talk to the papers about every aspect of my personal life. But just know I had a damn good reason," the producer posted in his Twitter for his close to 5 million followers.

Meanwhile, Scottish songwriter Calvin Harris was seen dining out with model Aarika Wolf last week in Santa Monica, which paved way to speculation that he is dating again after the break-up.

The DJ, who made latest single "Blame" as one of the top-charting hits today, rocked a black shirt as he walked along the brunette beauty.

According to the Daily Mail, the model, who also appeared in Calvin Harris' latest single "Blame" music video, wore a skimpy dress as she walked out of the posh restaurant.

Before the Rita Ora and Calvin Harris split, the two had been a couple for one year. They called it quits last June.

The Scottish producer took to Twitter to declare their break-up.

"To address speculation - myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best," he said.

Rita Ora is now dating Tommy Hilfiger's rapper son, Ricky Hil. They were last seen in Japan where Rita Ora was attending her world promotional tour.
