Halloween is coming...have you thought of who you are dressing as on Halloween? Elsa from Frozen? Or Alice in Wonderland or Snow White? Girls always wear Disney princesses, but if the princesses will wear costumes during Halloween, who do the Disney Princesses dress as?
An artist from Massachusetts, Isaiah K. Stephens, drew the answers for us. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, he said.
"I chose Disney princesses as the base of the project because, as a whole, I think they appeal to not only varying types of girls/women but us guys as well, I know some people think that they place negative and unrealistic gender roles for young girls to follow, but as an artist, I've always enjoyed looking past their exterior and actually paying attention to the story being told."
Aladdin and Abu as Pokémon's Ash Ketchum and Pikachu
Alice of Alice in Wonderland as Buffy the Vampire Slayer
And the coolest of them all: Tinkerbell as Beatrix Kiddo from Kill Bill
Ariel from The Little Mermaid as Black Widow from Avengers
Belle from Beauty and the Beast as Hermoine Granger
Flynn Ryder and Maximus from Tangled as Marty McFly and Doc Brown
Merida from Brave as X-Men's Rouge
Mulan as Xena the Warrior Princess
Pocahontas as Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games
Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty as Danaerys Targaryen
Snow White as Wonder Woman
Well....there are other Disney characters like
Quasimodo from Hunchback of Notre Dame as Austin Powers
Isaiah explained further, "I basically thought to myself, 'If (Belle, Cinderella, or Pocahontas...) were real, who would be someone from our pop culture references that they'd be a fan of. It was a simple question, but it yielded some pretty crazy results."
Another series will be released by Isaiah before the Halloween this year, which means Anna and Elsa will be included. If you have any more guesses, or if you are curious who they will dress as, check out the entire creations of Isaiah's drawings on his Deviant Art home page.
