"How to Get Away With Murder" has officially kicked off the season and Viola Davis was nothing short of spectacular.

The award-winning actress took on her role as Criminal Law 100 professor Annalise Keating by storm, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Not only did she give her character justice, she also made it a point to capture the attention of all of her students.

The episode opened with professor Keating saying, "I don't know what terrible things you've done in your life up to this point, but clearly your karma's out of balance to get assigned my class. I'm Professor Annalise Keating and this is Criminal Law 100, or as I prefer to call it, How to Get Away With Murder," she wrote on the board.

Professor Keating was currently involved in a case and unlike other law professors, she made it a point to involve her students to what she was working on.

In order to qualify for the next round, the professor only has one rule, and that is to impress her. Towards the end of the episode, five students succeeded but they all hold a grueling secret, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Throughout the episode, four of the five students were featured getting rid of evidence for a crime they seemingly committed. However, at the beginning, it was unclear whose body they were carrying.

Someone from the school, a student, was just murdered and audiences initially thought that it was the four students who killed her.

However, towards the end of the episode, the face of Professor Keating's husband was shown. This fuels questions as to whether or not Keating instructed her students to get rid of her husband.

Of course, this is highly possible because Keating was seen in tonight's episode, having an affair with another man and one of her students even walked in on her.

Watch out for what may happen next Thursday on "How to Get Away With Murder" on ABC.
