"Once Upon a Time" season 4 spoilers are here and the executive producers reveal that there's going to be a mid-season break after 11 episodes as per the traditional practice. Meanwhile, Will Scarlett is set to make his return to Storybrooke later in the season.
Edward Kitsis teased "Once Upon a Time" season 4 spoilers to TVLine as he said that the season will be split in half.
"Like last year, the first half will be 'Frozen' and the second half will be revealed in the winter finale," he explained. The working title for the second half of the season will be tentatively called "The Coming of Scott."
"Scott, The Villain That Has No Relation to Anyone. He's just an annoying jerk who cuts in front of you and never says 'Excuse me,' he doesn't tip at Granny's..." he quipped. "No, the seeds [for Season 4B] are planted in the first 10, so that when you see [the reveal] in 11 you go, 'Ah, OK.'"
Meanwhile, the showrunner also revealed "Once Upon a Time" season 4 spoilers toTV Guide that Will Scarlett would make his way to Storybrooke once again.
Played by Michael Socha, Will Scarlett is the disgraced member of the Merry Men and Kitsis said that, just like Robin Hood with Regina, he will also make a connection with someone else.
"We're going to meet Will, and he's a thief in a town where Emma is the sheriff. We're going to get a little bit of that and a little Robin Hood. The second half of the season is where we're really going to dive more into Will Scarlet," he said.
He said that fans would meet Will Scarlett following the events of the "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland," although the producers would make sure that those who never watched that story arc won't be lost when the Will Scarlett storyline comes along.
"How he returned to Storybrooke, why he returned to Storybrooke when it seemed like he had such a happy ending with the Red Queen is obviously something we want to explore this year and explain," the executive producer said in his "Once Upon a Time" season 4 spoilers.
