According to Tribune.com.pk, "Living My Truth" writer, Isabella Tanikumi, sued Disney over 'Frozen' Plagiarism. The writer claims that the origin of hit animated "Frozen" was taken from her 2010 autobiography titled "Living My Truth".
The book revolves around Tanikumi's adolescent years in the Andean mountains of Peru. The writed said Disney plagiarized the 'feeling', story and characters from her work and she currently demanded a jury trial.
Tanikumi's lawyer, William T Anastasio told E! News,
"In response to your query regarding Isabella Tanikumi's claim against Disney, she has requested that I email you the attached Complaint which was filed this past Monday in the Federal District Court. Ms Tanikumi is a very private individual and does not wish to be interviewed at this time. As the case moves through the courts, I am sure more information will become available concerning her claims."
Her claims against Disney cost $250 MILLION. TMZ added, "Living My Truth" Writer also claims and insists the movie is not based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, "The Snow Queen".
TMZ has taken a quick look at her book, but they said, they didn't see a talking snowman.
The alleged plagiarized "Frozen" is a 2013 American 3D computer-animated musical fantasy-comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. It was released by Walt Disney Pictures last November 19, 2013 at El Capitan Theatre and November 27, 2013 in the USA.
Based on Wikipedia, the budget of the film cost $150 million, while its box office gross has reached $1.274 billion.
