The latest "Avengers 2" spoilers will definitely make many fans worried because the director teased that a superhero may die in the movie. When Joss Whedon was asked what people can expect from the latest sequel, he said: "Death, death, and death."

The filmmaker may be joking when he made this comment, but it could also be true. He tried to explain to Entertainment Weekly what he meant about this remark. Whedon said, "Um... maybe? But I'd have to have a really good reason, a really great sequence for [Marvel executives] to go, 'We'll cut off a potential franchise, that's fine!'"

He added, "They know, as any good studio does, that without some stakes, some real danger, how involved can we get? We don't just rule it out across the board, but neither is the mission statement 'Who can we kill?' We try to build the story organically and go, 'How hard can we make it on these people?' You go to the movies to see people you love suffer-that's why you go to the movies."

Because of what Joss Whedon said, several "Avengers 2" spoilers emerged as to who among the superheroes will perish. Could it be Iron Man or Captain America? Movie Pilot has a theory that it could be America's favorite superhero that will fall in the "Age of Ultron".

Marvel released promotional photos which included Captain America holding his cracked shield. The website said, "There is nothing ominous about that, were it not for one key factor - the near indestructible shield was broken, cracked into pieces."

Other "Avengers 2" spoilers point to Iron Man, who confirmed recently that there are no plans for a fourth installment. Inquisitr came up with a new theory that the iron-clad superhero will get beaten up by the Hulk. The website reported, "Another possibility is that Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.), the civilian in the Iron Man suit, will die."

The website explained, "This would be ironic after finally getting the chest piece and shrapnel removed at the end of Iron Man 3. However, it isn't that unlikely since it was revealed that the Hulkbuster armor would make its debut in Age of Ultron. Mark Ruffalo is signed on for at six more movies, so the Hulk is highly unlikely to get the proverbial ax. This means Tony Stark might lose his fight with Hulk despite the suit."

Based on the "Avengers 2" spoilers, which superhero do you think will perish in the sequel?
