After news spread that she is the new girlfriend of Robert Pattinson, FKA twigs has been the target of racism via social media.
No longer having patience for the bigotry, the singer went to her Twitter account to address all those opposed to her swirling love with the "Twilight" hunk.
"I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week," tweeted the songwriter, who is of Jamaican and Spanish descent.
She continued with suggesting that racism shouldn't be tolerated in any form.
"Racism is unacceptable in the real world and it''s unacceptable online," FKA twigs wrote on her Twitter account.
In a past interview with Dazed, the new love of Kristen Stewart's ex talked about being picked on as a child due to the color of her skin.
"People said horrible things about something I had no control of, which was tough," she said. "I never really saw anything wrong with how I looked, it was more that certain people pointed things out to you about yourself. Either your hair's different, or the colour of your skin, or your features. Half of my life I've had people staring at me because they think I'm funny-looking and ugly. The other half of my life I've had people staring at me because they think I'm fascinating."
Jezebel.com reported that the bi-racial talent endured name calling like "monkey" and "black bitch" via Twitter.
