The EmmaYouAreNext.com countdown turned out to be a hoax by a marketing firm Rantic Media to bring down 4chan. Emma Watson, the Harry Potter actress, came under threat after she delivered a moving speech about feminism at the United Nations, New York.
After watching what has transpired on reddit and 4chan discussion boards, online commentators are focusing on Apple's security breach in its highly touted storage service system; the iCloud takes even more significance now since two new big screen models of Apple next generation flagship models have been released, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. Users who rely heavily on the iCloud for storage could be hesitant from purchasing the high-end phone.
Gabrielle Union told the essexchronicle.co.uk, " "It has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures. Union added, "I can't help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of color, have been victimized, and the power over their own bodies taken from them," she added.
Despite Apple's claims that its iCloud security is still intact, online commentators say that the flaw attributed to the iCloud is that the security questions can be changed as many times as possible and it appears this is what has happened during the Fappening photo leaks.
