Monet Bell may have ended up separating with her partner Vaughn Copeland, she never regretted being cast in FYI's "Married at First Sight". The show did teach her a lot of lessons about knowing oneself.
In an interview with Essence, she admitted, "I would do this again in a heartbeat. This was one of the best things I could have done. You want to talk about getting to know yourself? Put yourself in an intensive five-week crash course of marriage. I have never even lived with a man before. The first man I lived with was my husband. You don't even know the things that you didn't know about yourself until you get married."
Doug told New Transcript in an interview, "The experiment has taught me that communication is key to building and maintaining a good relationship and staying comfortable with each other during the experiment as we started living together."
For Jamie Otis, it's not only "Married at First Sight" that has given her learning experiences; it's also his partner, Doug. "I think the biggest thing I learned from Doug is that I tend to always be so serious, and he showed me it is OK to let your guard down and have fun with life. In the past, I always had a checklist of what I needed to do."
Joining the show, for Cortney Hendrix, is not a mistake. She said in an exclusive interview with International Business Times that she will even recommend it. "But I think that people need to keep in mind that if you're going to do it, you have to be open-minded and you can't be scared. Well, you can be scared, but you can't be scared to let yourself be open and be vulnerable."
"Married at First Sight" fans can still discover a lot about these couples as there will be another special that they can watch - the "Married at First Sight: Unveiled". It will premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 9pm ET. They will see never-before-seen moments from the weddings to the honeymoons, and more bonus videos. They can also watch through live streaming at Hulu.com.
