"White Collar" season 6 cast Matt Bomer gets busy transitioning to the big screen with two new upcoming films, "The Nice Guys" and "Magic Mike XXL." Meanwhile, the actor and Liv Tyler get high on the new clip from "Space Station 76."
A new article from Deadline reported that "White Collar" season 6 cast Matt Bomer will join Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling in "The Nice Guys."
Although there's no detail yet on the film's plot, the IMDB said that the film is about a "private eye (who) investigates the apparent suicide of a fading porn star in 1970s Los Angeles and uncovers a conspiracy."
"Magic Mike XXL" is the sequel to the 2012 film starring Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Joe Mangaiello, Olivia Munn and Alex Pettyfer. This time around, the group will reportedly be taking a road trip although without Matthew McConaughey who bowed out of the film.
"It has taken some time, but Bomer is getting his movie chance now. As his USA show 'White Collar' ends this fall after its six-season run, Bomer now is focused on big-screen opportunities," Mike Fleming Jr. wrote for Deadline.
The writer said that "White Collar" season 6 Matt Bomer caught the producers eyes with his portrayal of Felix Turner in "The Normal Heart" for HBO. That performance earned the actor a nomination in the Emmys for Best Supporting Actor.
In a new clip for "Space Station 76," Matt Bomer becomes bad influence to Liv Tyler after convincing her into smoking weed inside the room chock-full of marijuana. The film is meant as a nod to the 1970s Sci-fi films but features modern technology.
"She obviously gives in and the two are seen rolling around in the grass, laughing,"Perez Hilton said. "We don't blame her for giving in though, if Matt freaking Bomer hands you some marijuana you smoke that shiz!"
