Did Nicole Kidman's father's death cause a rift between Keith Urban's wife and her children? That's what the new rumors are suggesting although the "Grace of Monaco" star is putting on a brave face as she thanked fans for support.
Quoting National Enquirer, gossip site Radar Online reported on the latest rumors surrounding Nicole Kidman's father's death and burial.
Reportedly, Isabella and Connor Cruise, her adopted children with Tom Cruise, were nowhere in sight when their grandfather, Dr. Anthony Kidman, was buried on September 18.
"It must have been crushing for Nicole not to have Connor and Isabella there. I think it's sad the kids stayed away at Nicole's time of need," a source told the tabloid.
British tabloid MailOnline earlier reported that when Connor, 19, heard about Nicole Kidman's father's death, he took to Twitter on September 13 to write one word: "Shocked."
However, "the next day Instagrammed pictures of himself with friends in Morocco," along with the caption on one of the photos: "Epic time riding camels in the desert! So fun!"
Both Connor and Isabella are living with Tom Cruise by their own choice even if Nicole Kidman previously said that she would love it if the children would come live with her in Australia with husband Keith Urban.
Nicole Kidman's father, Dr. Anthony Kidman, died of a heart attack while he was in Singapore visiting her sister. He was a clinical psychologist and Director of the Health Psychology Unit at Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital.
Nicole Kidman remembered during the funeral how her father was very supportive as he immediately hopped on the jet after hearing that she and ex Tom Cruise were getting divorced.
"Nicole was supported at her father's funeral by Keith, 46, and their daughters Sunday Rose, six, and Faith Margaret, three, whom they had via a surrogate mother," the British tabloid said.
