Good news Power Ranger fans as original cast member Jason David Frank will appear in the Power Rangers movie reboot
According to reports from MTV News, veteran Power Ranger cast member and martial artist, Jason David Frank will join the movie as a former Power Ranger that will help train the new heroes under Zordon's orders. JDF was known for his role as Tommy Oliver in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series as the first Greenand White Ranger. His character has also taken several Red Ranger forms, not to mention being a Black Ranger in Power Rangers: Dino Thunder, and returning as the Green Ranger again in Power Rangers: Super Megaforce.
In an interview with ComicBook.com, Frank said that he expected some level of involvement in the reboot coming from Lionsgate, though it’s unclear how big a part he’ll play.
“I probably will be involved. They talked to me about it,” he said. “I don’t know how much I am involved, but for sure cameos at least in the reboot movie.”
MTV reported before that Liam Hemsworth, Chloe Grace Moretz and Jack Gleeson are hinted to become the Power Rangers in the reboot along with Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Chung, and Roshon Feegan. As for Liam Neeson, ComicBookMovie.com reports that he will play the role of Power Rangers mentor, Zordon in the movie.
Meryl Streep, Michael Fassbender, and Tom Hardy are rumored to play the villains Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, and Goldar while MADtv comedians Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key will portray Bulk and Skull in the movie.
MTV further add, that the producers of the movie have been in talks with Liam Neeson, Chloe Grace Moretz, Liam Hemsworth and Jack Gleeson about the project, although nothing has been clarified yet on whether they will join the film.
Chloe Grace Moretz allegedly said in an interview with MTV News that she is excited to play a "kick-ass" character once again. "Pink Ranger is so cool. I'm getting excited to play another kick-ass lady like Hit-Girl".

According to reports fro Comic Central City, an allege Power Rangers Facebook fan page posted the official concept art of Green Ranger's Dragonzord and its designs are based on the Pacific Rim Jaeger robot, Gypsy Danger.
