Tracy Morgan is enraged by Walmart's recent statement and he has something to say for himself.

On Monday, Walmart filed their counter affidavit and alleged that the accident was caused in whole, or in part, by the fact that Morgan and other members of his group did not wear a protective gear at the time of the accident.

Now, Morgan released his own statement and expressed his disbelief over the fact that he is being blamed for the accident, according to CBS Local.

"I can't believe Walmart is blaming me for an accident that they caused. My friends and I were doing nothing wrong. I'm fighting hard every day to get back," he said.

Walmart's spokesperson, Brooke Buchanan, clarified that they filed their statement on Monday as a response to a previous filing done by Morgan and his camp.

Buchanan stressed that it was required by the law that all parties file their statements and include facts and defenses that may help impact the case moving forward, Star Tribune reported.

"Our thoughts continue to go out to the families and friends of everyone involved," Buchanan included in the statement. She also stressed that the company has encouraged discussion toward a settlement.

Back in June, Morgan was involved in a car accident that caused injuries to his brain and his body. His good friend and fellow comedian, James McNair died during the incident.

Meanwhile, Morgan's lawyer, Benedict Morelli, revealed that there is a possibility that Morgan will no longer be able to perform again due to the brain injury he suffered from the accident, the Daily Mail noted.

"The jury's still out. The doctors don't know the answer. I don't know the answer."

Following the incident, Morgan filed a lawsuit against Walmart truck driver Kevin Roper, who then pled not guilty for drunk driving.
