Batman's Wife T-shirt Sends A Wrong Impression To Teen Girl As Message Tells Them To Be Superhero's Housewife!

Well, DC Comics is quite a disappointment recently. It seems that women are not meant to seek to be Catwoman or Batgirl or even the greatly evil but intelligent Poision Ivy. No women are only meant to be Batman's wife, at least based on the Shirt that is accredited by DC Comics and available at Walmart stores in the country.

The shirt was first seen by a blogger named PJ in the juniors section of Walmart. She also noted correctly that Batman does not have a wife and Gotham's superhero is not the marrying type. The store should not be training teenage girls to be a superhero's housewife. PJ said, "I'd rather her train to be the Joker, Penguin, or Catwoman . . . at least she'd be doing her own thing." The blogger got a very good point, as for DC Comics, hopefully they re-evaluate how they see their female fans. During the eve of female Thor's launch, they should begin to catch up to Marvel when it comes to gender sensitivity and equality.

Njolnir transformed into the Goddess of Thunder, when Thor #1 was introduced by DC Comics. In an interview with Aaron, he said "It never started with the idea of, 'Hey, let's change Thor and we'll figure out later who that is. It all started with the idea of 'Yes, let's make the existing Thor unworthy and go from there.'"

DC Comics responded to the blogger's statement, they explained: "DC Comics is home to many of the greatest male and female Super Heroes in the world. All our fans are incredibly important to us, and we understand that the messages on certain t-shirts are offensive. We agree. Our company is committed to empowering boys and girls, men and women, through our characters and stories. Accordingly, we are taking a look at our licensing and product design process to ensure that all our consumer products reflect our core values and philosophy."
