Jennifer Lawrence dating Chris Martin reportedly has the blessings of Gwyneth Paltrow as the former couple celebrated the "Iron Man" actress' birthday along with some of their friends.
According to MailOnline, Jennifer Lawrence might be dating Chris Martin but that doesn't stop him from being friends with his ex-wife as he threw a birthday bash for her 42nd birthday.
Among the celebrities who attended the party were Kate Hudson, Nicole Ritchie and Jennifer Aniston.
Chris Martin also invited parents of the classmates of their children Apple, 10, and Moses, 8, along with her colleagues from Goop. But Jennifer Lawrence wasn't there, which is probably a good thing to get all the awkwardness out of the way.
Reportedly, Jennifer Lawrence started dating Chris Martin two months ago long after the Coldplay frontman and Gwyneth Paltrow went through what she termed as "conscious uncoupling."
Meanwhile, a report from Look magazine revealed that Gwyneth Paltrow is fully on board with Jennifer Lawrence dating Chris Martin, as she invited the two lovebirds for lunch.
"Chris, Gwyneth and Jennifer were all in LA earlier this month, so Gwyneth suggested a friendly lunch between her and Jennifer. They met at her Brentwood home and drank tea and ate homemade scones while chatting in the garden," the magazine said.
Jennifer Lawrence is already shacking up with Chris Martin in his Malibu home but the arrangement is very casual, a source told Look.
"Gwyn broke the ice by telling Jen she's happy Chris wound up with such a smart, beautiful woman," it added.
Earlier, Grazia magazine reported that Gwyneth Paltrow is fine with Jennifer Lawrence dating Chris Martin as long as it didn't interfere with his responsibilities with the kids.
"She's drawn up a rota to balance his time living life as a bachelor and seeing Jennifer with honouring their many family commitments. Gwyneth still has a lot of control over him, which isn't exactly desirable to prospective girlfriends," the magazine said.
