'Wolverine' Untitled Sequel Set To Premiere On March 3, 2017; Plot Of 'X-Men' Character Revealed; 'Fanstastic Four 2' Reboot Will Not Hit Theaters Until After 15 Months?

According to Coming Soon, supported by Deadline.com, the untitled "Wolverine" movie is set to premiere on March 3, 2017.

Spoiler shared by Coming Soon about the next sequel of "Wolverine" reads,

"James Mangold in talks to direct another solo "X-Men" film starring Hugh Jackman as Logan. Mangold is negotiating now to write the treatment for the film with Lauren Shuler Donner returning to produce."

"The Wolverine" has grossed $413.6 million at the worldwide box office and is the second-highest grossing film in the "X-Men" franchise behind "X-Men: The Last Stand's" $459.4 million. Including the upcoming "X-Men: Days of Future Past," the film will mark Hugh Jackman's eighth appearance as the character on the big screen."

Meanwhile, the last "X-Men" movie titled : "Days of Future Past" released last May 10, 2014, garnered $746 million box office, while its estimated budget is $200 million. Jennifer Lawrence stars in this movie and plays the role of Mystique.

The plot summary of this movie based on IMBD reads,

"The X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants."

Apart from "Wolverine" untitled sequel, another highly-talked about superhero movie is the "Fanstastic Four 2" reboot. However, as per Deadline, the reboot sequel will not appear until after 15 months.
