The big bad daddy is coming to 'The Originals' season 2! However, he won't just be spending his entire time killing vampires and tormenting Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah's (Daniel Gillies) not-so-perfect life.
According to Sebastian Roche, who plays Mikael Makaelson, something "quite wonderful" will happen soon.
He told Entertainment Weekly that Mikael will be finding ways to force Davina (Danielle Campbell) into freeing him because he "wants to roam the world and get to his revenge as soon as possible."
Papa Original won't be ruthless throughout the whole season, however. Roche teased fans of a certain emotional scene that he'll be sharing with another character.
"There was a scene that I did with another character where you do see the pain and emotion, you see where the rage and this thirst for revenge comes from, and I think it comes from a place of pain," he shared, adding that this rare sight into Mikael's softer side is quite "interesting."
What he really wants to happen, however, is for all of the Mikaelsons to come together for a family meeting and a "talking down."
"It would be great! That would be so wonderful," he added. "Something of the kind would be really interesting. I think it would be very, very emotionally charged and quite epic."
Speaking of poignant moments, Roche also revealed one more interesting scene from 'The Originals' season 2 in which he delivers one of his epic speeches. He noted it as a heartbreaking moment that Mikael would have "in terms of bridging the gap between anger and emotion."
He explained, "There's a scene that I did in episode 5 [of season 2] with another cast member that I particularly like because I wasn't too sure on how to do the scene and something magical came out of it, this whole raw emotion and anger came out of it."
Fans won't have to wait long. 'The Originals' season 2 will premiere on the CW on October 6 at 8PM.
