Daniel Radcliffe is back in a 'magical' film as he joins the cast of "Now You See Me 2". He will play the son of Michael Caine ("Zulu", "Italian Job" and "Get Carter") who played the role of Arthur Tressler, an insurance mogul, in the movie.

The announcement came from the Academy award-winning actor himself. In an interview with film blog HeyUGuys, he said, "There's a sequel to 'Now You See Me' and we're shooting in London. I shoot in December, the whole of December in London, and my son is Harry Potter. I thought it'd be funny, me and Daniel Radcliffe as father and son."

With Radcliffe in "Now You See Me 2", will he spell more luck for the movie?

Last year, the Louis Leterrier's film earned over $350 million at the international box office. It outgrossed big-budget summer films in 2013 like "The Lone Ranger" ($175.6 million) and "White House Down" ($125.1 million). This prompted Lionsgate Summit Entertainment to do the sequel.

Will the "Harry Potter" fans appreciate the young actor as he wears a magician's hat this time?

Going back to the announcement, It's unusual these days that the news about his addition in the cast did not come from the "Harry Potter" star himself. Fans are used to hearing statements first-hand - in Twitter specifically. But Radcliffe admitted in an interview with Sky News that he avoided Twitter and other social media.

"I don't have Twitter and I don't have Facebook, and I think that makes things a lot easier because if you go on Twitter and tell everybody what you're doing moment to moment and then claim you want a private life then no one is going to take that request seriously."

Radcliffe will join the four horsemen - Isla Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, and Woody Harrelson - in "Now You See Me 2".
