Ronda Rousey's next fight may already have been set, but contender Bethe Correia still wants her shot at the reigning women's bantamweight champion. "Pitbull" also believes that "Rowdy" has not proven herself yet in mixed martial arts.

Ronda Rousey's next fight will be against "Alpha" Cat Zingano, which is likely to take place at UFC 182 on January 3rd, as part of the postponed title bout between light heavyweights Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier.

The announcement of Ronda Rousey's next fight was made during the UFC 178 post-fight press conference last weekend, after Zingano emerged victorious via third round victory against Amanda Nunes, after a 17-month layoff.

However, another top fighter in the UFC's women's bantamweight division is still hopeful that she will have a crack at Rousey some time soon. Brazilian prospect Bethe Correia is still itching for a title shot against "Rowdy", despite the finalization of Ronda Rousey's next fight.

According to "Pitbull", her success against three of Rousey's teammates who are aptly called "The Four Horsewomen" should have already established her spot as the number one title contender.

"I already proved to the world that the Four Horsewomen are a big joke," Correia told FOX Sports. "I just need to conclude my work getting the number one, the leader."

"I'm only waiting for the UFC to give me this chance so I can end this group once and for all and show who's the woman that came to stay and will be the only one to retire undefeated," she added.

Correia also pointed out that while Rousey has achieved great heights in her mixed martial arts career, the undefeated champion still has a lot to prove in the sport.

"The only thing I recognize [about] her as an athlete is what she did for women's MMA," Correia said. "But even as the UFC champion she still hasn't proven she's the best woman fighter. She just proved she's the best Judo fighter in MMA."

"I will show I have a more complete, true MMA game," she added.
