The iOS 7.1.3 release date has been confirmed and it would arrive sometime this November 2014! What can you expect on this latest update?
After the iOS 7.1.2 update launched, people have speculated that it would be the final update for the 7th generation of the mobile OS since the iOS 8 public release is already set for this fall season but that doesn't seem to be that case as reports are now suggesting that the iOS 7.1.3 would be last update before the iOS 8 comes.
Phone Arena reported an issue experienced by an iPad Air and iPhone 5S user in Lithuania. Accordingly, wrong regional holidays are appearing on the calendar application of both the iPad Air and iPhone 5S after installing the iOS 7.1.2 update. After setting the correct region, the holidays showing for the year 2014 are those celebrated in Canada, Mexico and Canada.
The user sent out an email to Apple and received a response, which according to this post stated that there is a software issue with the calendar app. The reply further said that it will be resolved with the next update, which is the iOS 7.1.3.
Meanwhile, battery drain is another possible issue that the new update will provide come the iOS 7.1.3 release date. A report on PhonesReview.co.uk noted:
"Of course it remains to be seen if iOS 7.1.3 will solve the problem with battery drain that some readers have reported to us, and which some of us at Phones Review have noticed on our own devices."
Cyberland reported that the iOS 7.1.3 release date is on November 2014 but no exact date has been given.
