ABC announced the coming of 'Mistresses' Season 3 this summer 2015. But it will be without Alyssa Milano.

The "Who's The Boss?" star announced the sad news in her Twitter account but gave her explanations in her personal website: "After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of 'Mistresses' in Vancouver, Canada for financial reasons. It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate. I have two babies under 4. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away. I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best."

Deadline reported that this news did not come as a surprise to ABC and the show's producers "as it was part of her contract". Her contract stipulated that she has the option to leave if the filming moves away from Los Angeles. Still according to the article, what is unknown yet is if they will find someone to take her role as Savi or her character will be gone.

Prior to the news that Milano will not return in "Mistresses" Season 3, Zap2it was able to talk with executive producers Rina Mimoun and K. J. Steinberg and what they said will somehow give viewers some ideas on the would-be fate of Savi.

The season finale left a dramatic cliffhanger, where Joss went to Harry and confessed her feelings, and Savi - Harry's ex-wife and Joss's sister - headed to the beach to follow her. Steinberg said, "Given that she's a character who's been largely in control of every relationship she's had on the show... I think that the betrayal of Joss and Harry is going to destroy her."

The sexy summer drama fans can now start guessing.

"Mistresses" Season 3 will carry 13 episodes same with seasons 1 and 2. The "Mistresses" season 2 finale gained total viewership of 3.5 million.
