Good news gaming fans as a classic Mortal Kombat character returns in a new gameplay trailer in Mortal Kombat X.

The demonic sorcerer Quan Chi will join the new roster of Mortal Kombat X as a new gameplay trailer will feature his brutal fighting style and magical abilities in the game.

As most characters in Mortal Kombat X, Quan Chi will have three sets of variations for players to explore in the game and these are the sorcerer, warlock, and summoner. The Sorcerer variation allows Quan Chi to use his magical abilities against his opponents, and also has ability to enhance his attacks to further damage his opponents. The Warlock variation allows Quan Chi to open dimensional portals in the are, in which he can throw his oppenent or surprise attack him/her form every direction. Finally the Summoner variation allows him to summon a demonic bat creature and act as it protector and weapon in a fight.

Meanwhile, the release date for Mortal Kombat X has been revealed.

According to reports from Gamerant, MKX is set to be released on April 14, 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and for the PC. In addition, the website added that the Shokan warrior Goro will return to the new Mortal Kombat game as a pre-ordered DLC character.

Raiden and Kano have already been introduced in the roster of Mortal Kombat X along with new characters Cassie Cage, D'Vorah, Ferra/Torr and Kotal Kahn, and not to mention fan favorites Sub-Zero and Scorpion.

Gamer Headlines has reported that YouTube username “Maximilian Dood” uploaded a game review of Mortal Kombat X, and mentioned that Ermac and Smoke are possibly added to game.

The game website also posted a concept art design of Ermac, and a photo of Smoke being killed by Kotal Khan.

Playstationlifestyle.net also reported that Motaro might comeback in the new Mortal Kombat title, although NetherRealm Studios or Ed Boon had any sort of confirmation about it.
