Alyssa Milano Mistresses appearance has officially ended. It looks like fans of the TV drama "Mistresses" will have to say goodbye to the character Savannah. EW has confirmed that the "Charmed" star will not be returning to the show for its third season.
Alyssa Milano reportedly took to Twitter to officially announce this piece of news. She wrote, "After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of 'Mistresses" in Vancouver, Canada for financial reasons. It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate. I have two babies under 4. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away. I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best."
Fans now believe that the show "Mistresses" will not be the same with Milano's Savi character. However, until the show denies this story, then it looks like Milano will truly not be returning to the show so that she could still concentrate on her motherly duties, as it was the actress herself who made the announcement on social media. Milano is one of the four biggest names among the show's cast members, and losing her will most likely have some repercussions on the show.
Avid fans of the "Mistresses" are especially heartbroken, particularly because Savannah was about to meet her ex-husband and her younger sister in a torrid embrace by the beachside. Suddenly removing this story from the show's premise will have some relatively major changes.
Nevertheless, an anonymous source has confirmed to TVLine that Savannah will not be recast in the show's upcoming third season. However, the show has apparently decided to introduce a new mistress to fill in the void that Milano has left. Fans are a bit excited in figuring out which actress will be selected to replace Milano's spot.
To date, ABC has not given any comment on this matter.
