Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard share another glimpse of their pregnancy journey. The "19 Kids and Counting" star posted a photo of her and her husband taking some time to write verses from the Bible to hold on to during pregnancy, labor and delivery of their first child. According to US Magazine, the couple wrote several passages down with different colored pens, including Isaiah 26:3 and Deuteronomy 4:9.
"Writing out bible verses for encouragement during pregnancy, labor and delivery!" Duggar, 23, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, Sept. 28. "#scriptureboard #babydilly #pregnancyprep #blessedparents" she captioned the snapshot.
Reportedly, the parents-to-be, who are devout Christians, have faith and values play big part of the pregnancy right from the beginning. They revealed that they decided to share the news of Baby Dilly even before the first trimester end because of their belief in the value of every life.
"Believing that life begins at conception and that every life is precious no matter how young, we would - even if there were to be a miscarriage - we would still want that child to be recognised," Jill told Us Weekly back in August. "So it was something that we thought about and went forward with."
After making the news about their pregnancy public, the couple shared their thoughts to Christian Post about their future plans for their children.
"Well, ultimately, we want to be an example for them. For a daughter, I want to show her how a man should treat her, just like Jill's dad did for her," Derick said. "And just be the best dad I can be to both my sons and daughters and really purpose to teach them the Word of God early on and pray that they will come to the Lord early in life. And helping them be open, not afraid to come to us about anything."
Jill, who married Derick in June, is due to have their baby in March 2015.
