Serena Williams boyfriend news is taken over by concerns for her latest injury as she pulled out of the China Open. The tennis superstar is heading to Europe for an MRI to know the extent of the damage.
The Serena Williams boyfriend news has become tabloid fodder in recent weeks as the talks about her dating her coach continue.
In an article by Page Six, Serena Williams and Patrick Mouratoglou were reportedly seen on a romantic date at the Bagatelle around 9:30 p.m. The article even noted the food that they ordered which consisted of crab salad, oysters and truffled chicken.
"They seemed very intimate and they didn't stop chatting all night. They headed back to their hotel after about an hour and a half," a witness told Page Six.
This time around, her decision to pull out of the China Open after yet another injury overshadowed those Serena Williams boyfriend news reports.
The tennis superstar said that she will get an MRI after suffering another setback, according to a report from BBC.
"It throbs just sitting, standing. I feel it mostly serving because I'm landing on my left knee," she said. "I haven't had time for an MRI but I'll do that and see what the problem is."
Last month, Serena Williams joined Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert in the fourth all-time list of major winners after claiming her 18th Grand Slam at the US Open.
In a report from The Guardian, Serena Williams said that she felt a stinging pain during her win over Lucie Safarova on Thursday.
"I started to feel pain this week. It didn't feel really well last night at all. I almost didn't go on the court - I did at the last minute. I think it made it a little worse, to be honest," she said.
