Good news anime fans as new updates for Sword Art Online season 2 have been revealed.
New trailer for Sword Art Online season 2 has been streamed online last weekend and will cover two new storylines for the show. Here is the trailer below.
The trailer was first streamed in the SAO Facebook page as the new episodes will cover two new arcs from the manga: The Calibur and Mother's Rosary arc. Anime News Network has reported that the Calibur arc will be shown on October 18 on Tokyo MX and other stations, while the Mother's Rosary arc will be will be shown on November 8, 2014. The trailer will also feature the a new ending by Japanese Pop singer LiSa.
The Calibur arc will revovle around Kirito and his friends journey to find the legendary sword Excalibur, while the Mother's Rosary arc will feature Asuna facing a duel against an secretive Avatar named Zekken for an original sword skill.
The first part of Sword Art Online season 2 has been focused on the Phantom Bullet arc as Kirito goes to Gun Gale Online to investigate a series of murders that are linked with the assassination features of the game. From there he will encounter the female sniper Sinon, who will soon to be his future rival and friend/ally in GGO. With Death Gun captured and put to justice, Kirito's mission was a success at the same time Sinon has overcome her fears, and begins to join Kirito and his friends in his adventures.
A compilation episode, episode 14.5 "Debriefing," will air next Saturday with a preview of footage from the Calibur arc.
