With Martha Stewart at the helm, your Halloween costume ideas will be different. Forget about ghost stories because a fashion competition is on the way.

In collaboration with AOL, the "Shriek or Chic: Martha's Haute Halloween Challenge" is an online reality competition where three promising designers from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York will battle it out to make the best Halloween costume for the lifestyle guru.

According to Deadline, present to give guidance to the participants are fashion experts Ralph Rucci, Kevin Sharkey, Erin Fetherston and Kate Berry. Stewart will be the one to choose who will win the contest.

For several years, Stewart surprised her audiences and readers with her ingenious and almost unique Halloween costume ideas.

Fairy Grandmother - She was 'Fairy GrandMartha' in the 2013 Halloween special issue of her magazine, which was themed dream world.

Moth - Who will ever think of donning a moth Halloween costume and still come out stunning? It may only be Stewart. She wore the 'Motha' costume in the 2011 Halloween special issue of the magazine. She paired it with blonde bob wig, cape, and butterfly lashes.
