Leann Rimes And Eddie Cibrian slammed their ex-maid who has filed a "sham lawsuit". According to a report from Daily Mail, the reality TV couple claimed that their former househelp just wants to extort money.

The accused celebrities are reportedly "fuming" after their ex-maid Gloria Cevallos revealed to media that Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian maintain a hostile working environment in their home.

A TMZ report said Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian described the sham lawsuit as a "shameless money grab" and their former helper as a "serial user".

The couple said the complainant has also made similar accusations against two former employers, hence the possibility that the maid is just trying to extort money. Gloria Cevallos' previous complaints against employers prior to Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were all unsuccessful, said TMZ.

News broke last week about how the "I Need You" diva and her actor husband are facing a lawsuit from Gloria Cevallos, who claimed she was called a "fat old lady".

The maid said she suffered while working for the reality TV couple, particularly when she was called a "fat old lady" and "old Salvadoran b****" by other housekeepers.

An earlier TMZ report added that Leann Rimes' mother-in-law, Hortensia, was also dragged in the lawsuit. She allegedly ordered Eddie Cibrian to "fire one of the employees to make them pay for the state of the house".

The former maid is demanding money from the Grammy-winning singer because she was "verbally abused". The lawsuit also demands for the couple to continue paying Gloria Cevallos until she secures a new job.

Prior to the ex-maid's lawsuit, LeAnn Rimes was also is in the news for getting negative feedback after joking about rape and virginity with the late Joan Rivers. According to a report from Us Magazine, the late "In Bed With Joan" host asked the 32-year-old singer about losing her virginity.

LeAnn Rimes then revealed: "Well, he was my boyfriend for like three and a half years. He was fine. I think I raped him. I think that's how it happened."

The LeAnn Rimes rape joke made news soon after she delivered it, as people slammed her online for poking fun at such a sensitive issue.
