Make way for the kings!
After announcing seven dates for the Queen and Adam Lambert tour, tickets for the UK leg sold out in record time!
The ticket demand was so great, in fact, that organizers had to book another concert date just to accommodate fans' demands, reported Stereoboard.
The group will be adding another gig at the London O2 arena for January 18. The initial schedule only had the group booked for January 17 at the venue.
According to Stereoboard, the rest of the legendary group's stops will include Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena (January 13), Glasgow's SSE Hydro (January 14), Leeds' First Direct Arena (January 20), Manchester's Phones 4u Arena (January 21), the NIA in Birmingham (January 23) and Nottingham's Capital FM Arena (January 24).
Meanwhile, fans who managed to get tickets for the first show have gone to Twitter to express their jubilation.
One fan hilariously tweeted, "MY FIRST CONCERT WILL BE QUEEN AND ADAM LAMBERT. NOTHING WILL LIVE UP TO THAT. ADAM AND QUEEN ARE GONNA POP MY CONCERT CHERRY."
"I've got tickets for Queen with Adam Lambert!! How awesome is that!!! *goes through the roof*," another excited fan posted.
One Twitter user was both happy and worried about the Queen and Adam Lambert tour: "Got tickets to see queen and Adam lambert this upcoming January - 2015 is shaping up to be a year of great things and massive debts!"
One guy had a very cool dad. He tweeted, "So my dad just came in and told me he's got tickets for Queen and Adam Lambert in January, should be pretty f-ng cool if you ask me."
Why are fans so excited? Queen and Lambert had taken over North America, Japan, Australia and South Korea by storm and their performances had been met with rave reviews.
Europe already had a taste of the group's amazing flavor last year and they're eager for more with 2015's Queen and Adam Lambert tour in the UK and Europe.
The band will also visit Paris, Cologne, Amsterdam, Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Brussells, Milan, Stuttgart, Hearning, Prague, and Zurich.
