Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have set plans regarding the delivery of their baby. According to Christian Post, the "19 Kid and Counting" star opt to give birth at home.
"I think home birth is really special because you are in your own environment," she told People magazine. "You don't have to pick up, move and have that stall labor. I am looking forward to having the calm, intimate setting of being home."
Examiner noted that the home where she'll have the baby is the first house that they have shared together as a married couple. Reportedly, she will be bringing in a trained mid-wife to help her.
The couple who has not revealed the gender of the baby yet is excitedly preparing for the new addition's arrival. The couple took some time to write verses from the Bible to hold on to during pregnancy, labor and delivery of their first child. According to US Magazine, the couple wrote several passages down with different colored pens, including Isaiah 26:3 and Deuteronomy 4:9 for encouragement during pregnancy, labor and delivery.
Reportedly, the parents-to-be, revealed that they decided to share the news of Baby Dilly even before the first trimester end because of their belief in the value of every life.
After making the news about their pregnancy public, the couple shared their thoughts to Christian Post about their future plans for their children.
"Well, ultimately, we want to be an example for them. For a daughter, I want to show her how a man should treat her, just like Jill's dad did for her," Derick said. "And just be the best dad I can be to both my sons and daughters and really purpose to teach them the Word of God early on and pray that they will come to the Lord early in life. And helping them be open, not afraid to come to us about anything."
Jill is now past 15 weeks in her pregnancy.
