The Hobbit The Battle Of The Five Armies Full Movie: See Two New Official Movie Posters Here! Who Will Survive The Final Chapter Of 'The Hobbit' Series?

It's the last installment in the beloved The Hobbit franchise, and the movie is almost upon us! The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies full movie is set to be released on December 17, and expectations are running high for the final and most violent end to the tale of Bilbo and his friends.

Giving us an exciting glimpse into what to expect for The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies full movie, are two brand new promotional posters! In one poster we can see Martin Freeman, who plays the main character Bilbo Baggins holding up a sword, with the tag line "The Defining Chapter," while the other poster shows Gandalf (played by Ian McKellen), all grimy and gruff, and clearly looking very troubled.

If the trailer for The Hobbit The Battle Of The Five Armies full movie says anything, fans are in for plenty of battle scenes, emotional moments and lots of spectacular visuals for this final movie of J.R. R. Tolkien's bestselling novel. Even during the San Diego 2014 Comic-Con, director Peter Jackson confirmed that the movie takes on a much darker turn, similar to The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. "It's not as comical as the first Hobbit movie and they're progressively getting to tone of Fellowship Of The Ring," the director said.

The 1-minute, 57-second sneak peek trailer is hardly with any dialogue, except for the somber speech from Bilbo Baggins in which he states gravely that he will never forget "everything that happened: the good, the bad, those that survived - and those that did not." Clearly, there will be heartbreak as some of the characters audiences have grown to love from the past two The Hobbit films, will not be making it out alive.

The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies full movie also stars Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield, Evangeline Lily as Tauriel, and Luke Evans as Bard the Bowman.

It will have its worldwide premiere on December 17, 2014.
