Reports are coming out that the royal couple will be coming to visit New York City! In this very exciting bit of royal news, New Yorkers might be in for a great fall treat as Kate Middleton and Prince William visit the Big Apple

It will be recalled that the Duchess of Cambridge has had to cancel her scheduled appearances because she is still suffering from a severe form of morning sickness called hyperemesis gravidarium. Kate has had to take a raincheck on her first solo trip to Malta, where the island nation was set to welcome her for their Independence Day activities, and she also had to be absent for the opening of an art room at a primary school.

But now, a royal source says that the royal schedule for October and November are in, and that the Duchess might be able to fulfill her share of public engagements. "There will be engagements in October and November. We just haven't announced them yet," the source reveals. If the duchess begins to feel better, the New York trip will be Kate Middleton and Prince William's latest visit to the United States.

The royal couple were in Los Angeles last July 2011, visiting the country just a few short months after their wedding. If the trip pushes through, people are already asking whether Prince George will be on hand to accompany Kate Middleton and Prince William.

It will be recalled that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has been extra protective of their one year old son as of late, after they issued a stern warning against a photographer who has been staking out the movements of Prince George. An official statement from Kensington Palace says that the photographer has been "harassing and following both Prince George and his nanny as they go about their ordinary daily lives."

The statement adds, "The Duke and Duchess understand the particular public role that Prince George will one day inherit but while he is young, he must be permitted to lead as ordinary a life as possible. No parent would tolerate the suspicion of someone pursuing and harassing their child and carer whilst their child is playing in a public park or going about their daily activities."
