Taylor Swift Incredible Things is the "Shake It Off" singer's latest fragrance, and it would be her fourth since she debuted in the perfume business in 2011.
In 2011, Taylor Swift released her first ever fragrance, Wonderstruck, which was described by critics as having the top notes of "vibrant fruits, kissed by a bouquet of soft petals and a touch of sweet indulgence," the middle notes of "freesia, apple blossom and raspberry spark a swirl of vibrancy and feminine allure," and the bottom notes of "golden amber and sandalwood that are woven with a kiss of lush peach."
Women of all ages loved Wonderstruck and it became such a huge commercial success. Its success somehow predicted the coming of Swift's second scent, Wonderstruck Enchanted, which the young pop star released in 2012.
The "You Belong with Me" singer described this second fragrance as being "about that moment when you instantly feel a connection to someone, but then there's that feeling of being completely enamored - enchanted - when you know a little more about that someone and still feel that strong connection."
It was based on white musk, blonde woods with Peony, sugar-glazed Champaca petals, hypnotic vanilla, and white freesia shining through the middle and wild berries, pink poppy, and passion fruit topping it off. Wonderstruck Enchanted was an even bigger success than its predecessor. In fact, it solidified Taylor Swift's spot in the fragrance industry.
Taylor Swift also came out with a new fragrance in 2013, Taylor by Taylor Swift. Its top notes were "a burst of fresh fruits and flowers, blending luscious lychee and sparkling tangerine with a whisper of magnolia petals." Its middle notes featured some of the singer's favorite flowers - vanilla orchids, peonies, and hydrangeas. For its base, there were "creamy sandalwood, warmed by an inviting mixture of apricot nectar, cashmere musk, and a blend of woods."
Following her yearly trend, Taylor Swift has just announced her fourth addition, Incredible Things. This casual scent will be hitting Kohl's later this month. Its tops notes are vanilla orchid, suede flower and creamy musk. They meet with the middles notes of pink pepper, sparkling grapefruit and wild passion flower. For its base, it has white amber, Haitian vetiver, and Madagascar vanilla that all anchor it together.
