She is the biggest pop star, whose every move is chronicled by the paparazzi and the entertainment media. And her dating life has been the source of her inspiration for her songs, so much so that plenty of people have made jokes or warnings about the perils of dating Taylor Swift. But whatever you say about her, Taylor Swift quotes -- whether in her songs or in her interviews -- will always be much analyzed and loved by her fans.

The recent Taylor Swift quotes from a magazine interview stirred up rumors that the pop star was feuding with a fellow pop sensation. Fingers have pointed to Katy Perry as the "straight up enemy" that Swift was referring to in her interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

But this has not stopped the successful singer from speaking her mind during interviews. Most recently, the "Shake It Off" singer appeared on the cover of People magazine's 40th anniversary issue. The singer sports a vintage look on the magazine cover, reminiscent of Mia Farrow in her The Great Gatsby role.

As expected, juicy Taylor Swift quotes accompanied the cover story. This year, the 24 year old singer wants to make her life much more than about who she is dating or seeing at the moment. Taylor Swift reveals that this is a very "liberating" time for her. "Being on my own, prioritizing my girlfriends, my family and my music above everything else and trying things I never thought I'd try," she says. "It's really been a liberating and freeing time."

The Grammy award winner also made a conscious decision to take an extended break from the love circuit. "I made the decision to spend time on my own and figure out who I am. When you take the other person out of the scenario and you're walking through life on your own, you end up figuring out what you actually like without anyone else's input," Taylor Swift's quote reveals. "I'm not too worried about whether I meet someone. I'm going to be happy either way."
