Former UFC heavyweight champion and current WWE Superstar, Brock Lesnar is now caught in a mid-career crisis. Lesnar’s contract with WWE is about to expire according to former WWE commentator Jim Ross to Fox Sports. Ross thinks that Lesnar’s contract will be due after the Wrestlemania 31 in March and the championship is left with a decision to make. Whether he will go back to fighting in UFC or remain with WWE or even decide to retire from both competitions. According to Ross “Creatively from a strategic standpoint, WWE will need to find out sooner rather than later if Brock is interested in re-signing or not.” Ross thinks that Lesnar has a good place in WWE but looking at his health and age, a chance to get back to UFC one last time is a near prospect. He adds “It looks to me like he's gotten back on track. He looks phenomenal strength-wise. He's just scary looking. He's more scary looking than he was before he left [WWE the first time]. I see no reason he couldn’t have the potential to return to the UFC and sell pay-per-views.” According to a recent report by The Sports Business Journal, Lesnar is the UFC’s best draw ever, averaging more than 1,000,000 PPV buys per event and he can definitely make an income selling pay-per-views. But Ross says that Lesnar is not there for the money and that a bigger paycheck isn’t always a decision maker for the star. He said “He likes to be with his family and raise his boys. He's the kind of guy that can say, ‘I'm done with all of it.” Brock Lesnar is an American professional wrestler and former professional mixed martial artist. He started off as an MMA fighter in 2007 and later on moved his career to the WWE in 2012. He is a three-time WWE Champion, a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, and a NCAA Division I Wrestling Champion and is the only man in history who is able to win the three categories of sports. On August 17, 2014, at SummerSlam, Lesnar defeated John Cena to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion for the fourth time.
