Blake Lively's Preserve website reportedly crashed after posting the actress' pregnancy announcement. According to a report from LA Times, the "Gossip Girl" star and husband Ryan Reynolds' first child could be due this winter.
Early this week, the actress revealed via Blake Lively's Preserve website that she and her actor husband are expecting a baby. The big announcement was made through a beautiful photograph that showed Ryan Reynolds' "Green Lantern" leading lady against sun beams, holding her growing baby bump.
The traffic reportedly caused the lifestyle portal to crash, said LA Times.
Blake Lively's Preserve website posted about the pregnancy announcement: "Preserve at its core is about family. 'Family' is the single word our founder, Blake built this home on."
The post continued: "We have something for men, for women, for the old, but we realized, we don't have anything for the new. With family on our mind, we looked to the origin of it all - to the women in our lives who are right there, at that special moment; at the creation of family."
While no official statement has been given about the baby's due date, LA Times added that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' baby will most likely arrive by winter.
Prior to the pregnancy announcement, Blake Lively's lifestyle website Preserve was reportedly slammed by lifestyle icon Martha Stewart. According to a report from Page Six, a rep of the veteran style guru said the blond stunner is "not credible".
Martha Stewart, 73, also admitted that the 27-year-old star asked for her advice before launching Preserve.
The lifestyle mogul's senior vice president Kevin Sharkey slammed Blake Lively and Preserve: "I don't get the sense she's credible."
"She's enthusiastic, but she's not credible," Martha Stewart's rep said.
Martha Stewart had previously made comments about Blake Lively and Preserve, telling Huffington Post weeks ago: "I mean, it's stupid, she could be an actress!"
"I don't mean that facetiously!" she tried to clarify. "Why would you want to be me if you could be an actress?"
"Let her try," the lifestyle celebrity told Huffington Post of Blake Lively's lifestyle venture.
Soon after Martha Stewart's comments about Blake Lively's lifestyle website started circulating, the Hollywood It Girl responded by saying she believes she can be both an actress and a lifestyle entrepreneur.
"I want to have my own path professionally and even as she said, I'm an actress," Blake Lively told E!Online. "I'm doing something totally different so now I sort of have two careers going on and it'll be interesting to see how it all pans out."
