Stephen Collins' family is afraid that the former "7th Heaven" star is right on the brink of suicide. The 67-year-old actor has been the talk of the town of late as soon as the allegations that he molested several underage girls broke out.
He used to play the role of a beloved pastor in the hit TV drama, which was very friendly, "7th Heaven." However, he has been distraught when his confessions, which made during a marriage therapy session with his wife, were taped without his knowledge and then released to the public.
Now, those who are very close to Stephen Collins are very much concerned since he has hit rock bottom. In fact, they are scared that his depression could resort him to commit suicide.
One of his very close family friends told MailOnline, "His family, by no means, condones what he's said to have done, but it doesn't stop them worrying about him. They fear he could take his own life. That's how low he is right now. No one wants to leave him by himself."
Faye Grant, his estranged wife, and also the one behind the secret recording, has now claimed that Stephen Collins had also had some incestuous thoughts about their only child while she was still pregnant. She said that, shortly before she went to labor, he told her how happy he was that they were going to have a girl instead of a boy since he believed he would have abused the little boy.
"The comment you made just before I gave birth to our daughter, when you said you hoped we didn't have a little boy, because 'you just didn't know if you could keep his little penis out of your mouth' was indication that you were sick," Grant apparently wrote for Collins in a letter, which TMZ was able to obtain.
