"American Horror Story: Freak Show" spoilers reveal that the story behind Twisty the clown and what makes him very twisted will be revealed by episode four. Due to their sheer number, all the characters will be slowly revealed before their stories will come together.

Ryan Murphy talked "American Horror Story: Freak Show" spoilers to Entertainment Weekly on conceptualizing Twisty. He said that Fox CEO Dana Walden told him to make the character different from all the clowns that fans have seen in pop culture.

"So we worked a little bit before we even started to write on the backstory and we really came up with a gruesome, hideous story that you find out in episode four. You see the bottom part of his face in episode two. But in episode four we spend a lot of time with that and you see it more and you learn what is going on with him and it's really awful and scary," he said.

The creator said that a lot of the people on the set were freaked out by the clown that they "walked out on the premiere."

He also warned fans with clown phobias to record the episode and watch it during the day "because it only gets worse."

The first episode focused on the conjoined twins, Jimmy and Elsa and the "American Horror Story: Freak Show" spoilers from Ryan Murphy revealed that the second episode will be about Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett and Chilies.

"Then in the third one you meet Emma Roberts and Denis O'Hare. That's when the story coalesces. It's a slower rollout than we've ever done," he said.

Meanwhile, Vulture magazine said that it's too early to tell the verdict on "American Horror Story: Freak Show."

"'American Horror Story: Freak Show' seems, on the basis of its first two episodes, to be the best yet, or at the very least, the best directed," it said.
