One of the hottest new shows to debut on TV is the Batman origins story Gotham. Rather than revolve around the caped crusader and his exploits, the series delves into the city and how it rose into infamy, telling the background stories of its heroes -- Jim Gordon and young Batman, bruce Wayne. But the more interesting storyline revolves around its villains, and the show deserves its own Gotham TV series wiki with all the Batmanvillains that it introduces us to!
In the recent New York Comic-Con, the Gotham panel revealed much about what to expect from the show in its remaining episodes. It also showed a clip from the show, which the show runners and the cast elaborated on. What they assured us, was that more villains will be introduced. One particular villain that was shown in the clip wielded a weapon that resembled a telescope, which the said villain used to gouge out the eyes of anyone who dared look through it. How's that for an addition to the Gotham TV series wiki on villains?
Of course, majority of Gotham's villains will originate from one of the most dangerous places in the city -- the Arkham Asylum. Showrunner Danny Cannon explained, "When the lunatics run the asylum, the strongest lunatic will win - it's such a corrupt town," said Cannon. "The villains that will emerge from the ooze will always surprise us."
While more villains are waiting in the wings to be introduced into the Gotham TV series wiki, there are several interesting personalities that have been making the show interesting already, such as Penguin, Fish Mooney, and Catwoman. Asked whether the Penguin will eventually take over Fish Mooney's leadership by killing her, Cannon replied, "A Machiavellian rise to the top is something we explore very much and there are very many causalities and collateral damage."
As for Catwoman, the panel teased that an encounter or meeting with the young Selina Kyle and the young Bruce Wayne will happen very soon. As for the other villains in the Gotham TV series wiki, such as the Joker, or Harley Quinn, and even Harvey Dent or Two Face, , the showrunner has this to say: "Season two, if Fox lets us, there's no end of what we would see," said Cannon.
