With 'Grimm' season 4 premiering on October 24, new cast members will reportedly join David Guintoli, Silas Weir Mitchell, Russell Hornsby and Sasha Roiz according to Christian Today.
Theresa "Trubel" Rubel, who was introduced in the last season as the troubled Grimm that Nick Burkhardt (Guintoli) took in, will be helping Nick "see" Wesens for the mean time since Adalind Shade (Claire Coffee) tricked him into losing his Grimm powers.
According to executive producer David Greenwalt, Nick will not only suffer from losing his abilities, he'll also have to deal with an identity crisis.
This time, however, Nick would have to face the problem for more than one episode in 'Grimm' season 4. Fans don't have to worry though; he won't be replaced by another Grimm. Nick will get his powers back... eventually.
"This will go on longer than the zombie thing," the EP further shared. "But not just interminably. Long enough to really mine the issues around it."
Christian Today reported that fans can expect something big to happen during the NBC show's premiere episode.
'Franklin and Bash' actress Toni Trucks will be joining the supernatural detective series as the tough Deputy Janelle Farris.
According to Christian Today, Deputy Farris will seek Nick's help in solving a suspicious highway crime. These crimes will be linked to a salvage warehouse owner (Erick Avari from 'Warehouse 13'), who Nick will most likely suspect is not entirely human.
Unlike previous jobs, however, this one will give Nick grief. With his Grimm powers gone, he will be forced to work like a normal cop. He will have to rely on Trubel to find out which suspects are Wesens and which ones are regular people.
NBC previously introduced the new Wesens that Nick and his friends will encounter, including an octopus-like monster which robs memories from its victims.
With 'Grimm' season 4's first episode entitled "Thanks to Memories," the octopus-like Wesen would most likely be the first monster that fans will meet this season.
