That comes as a surprise after Prince George, Prince William and Prince Harry are all male heirs to the throne and if Kate gives birth to a set of princesses, they could be privy to the throne.
According to various reports, an ultrasound sonogram done on Kate in the early part of her pregnancy, her doctors revealed the sounds of two heart beats. Kate's severe morning sickness could also be the result of having twins, say experts.
Princess Kate Middleton has not been seen outside since her second pregnancy was confirmed by the Palace. In the latest news about Princess Kate Middleton and her due date for the twins, Catherine is feeling better, and has told her closest insiders that she is pregnant with twins.
Star Magazine reported in its October 20 issue that Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge are sharing the good news about the twins on the way.
"When they looked at the screen and saw two tiny human beings, they were completely overwhelmed," a source close to the stor told Star.
The report added, "Will said Kate's mouth dropped open and her eyes almost popped out of her head, then she squealed, 'Oh my God!' He'll never forget the look on her face - it must have been priceless!"
Although an official due date for Kate's delivery has not been set, it could be as early as April, say reports.
